aiREDACT

Unfortunately identity theft is a growing problem and redacting sensitive personal information from documents is an increasing necessity. aiREDACT is the optimal software technology created for redacting information. It will take the image of scanned documents and then convert them into a file where the text can be read and searched. aiREDACT is an advanced OCR (Optical Character Recognition) program that accurately processes data and is able to correctly discern different fields.

While some programs may confuse a social security number and a full zip code, which are both nine digits, aiREDACT will correctly identify the field and only remove the proper information. aiREDACT can also do partial redactions, in the case where a client may want some information removed, such as all but the last four digits of a social security number. Some redaction programs cut corners by simply placing a black rectangle over the sensitive information. This does not provide complete security because since the data still remains under the rectangle a computer hacker could remove the block and read the information. With aiREDACT there is no need to worry about this possibility because our software “burns” out the redacted data and generates a new copy of the document, identical to the original but without the sensitive information in any form.
